One of the biggest problems with using the telescope outdoors in the winter is the problems caused by condensation when the telescope is moved from the warm, moist house air to the dry, cold outdoor air. With the extremes a telescope goes through moving from indoors to outdoors, humidity problems can cause permanent damage both on the inside and outside of the scope. Back to Tips |
